How is everything in the blogosphere? I hope that all is well and that everyone has been having a great holiday season. Things with me have been going pretty dawg on good. I really had a wonderful Christmas and New Year.

I didnt do too much for the New Year. I spent New Years Eve at home with my babe. We had a pretty good time though. New Year’s Day we spent over with his parent.

Bridal Boot Camp

I have got to get my a$$ in gear as for as my weight loss. I know that you guys have heard it all before but I am so serious this time. As of January 2, 2007 I am in Bridal Boot Camp. I need to get ready to fit into someonez beautifully designed wedding dress.

If anyone has any words of advice, plz feel free to share. What I plan to do is:

1. Go to the gym at least 4 days a week
2. Drink plenty of water every day
3. Eliminate caloric beverages
4. Decrease my caloric intake
5. Cut out the fried foods and all those damn chips!

I think thats a pretty good start. If not, its all I can do for now. Tootle loo!

Seems like you have it figured somewhat out...I write down what I eat and I find that it helped me lose weight...I have to get back on my grind again cause I don't want the weight that I lost to come back...I just joined the Discovery Health Challenge...maybe that will help..check it out :)

Happy New Year!!!!
The water, and the elimination of the caloric beverages, along with working out at the gym, will do the trick.

Make sure you keep those curves, girl. . .Just like Sir Mix A Lot said "But Please Don't Lose that Butt" LMAO!

You'll look great, I'm sure. . .Keep us posted.
I wish you nothing but continued motivation and encouragement to reach your boot camp goals!

Happy New Year!
i know i'm in and out over here....but umm is you getting married?
Happy New Year!

It looks like you have this whole thing sewn up like a shirt. Screw diets, just do what you're doing, and you'll probably go beyond your goal.

Oh, and CONGRATS! I had no idea you were engaged. Yanno I can't read.

Okay so, I am fairly active, but I am old, so my metabolism is SHOT TO H*LL! So I had to trick my body into burning calories. My three top tricks are:

WATER: Drink water all the time, take it to work in a bottle, put it next to your bed at night. You can add lemon juice to it. For variety, you can drink the unsweetened flavored seltzer, so you get that soda feel without the calories. Crystal Light is okay, but I only like the peach tea flavor.

SUGAR: Youre in nutrition, so you know that sugar makes you hungry. If you can cut back on the refined white sugar (substitute something less refined like honey, brown rice syrup, etc), your appetite will suppress itself, without any crazy hoodia or whatever

PROTEIN: Eat protein with EVERY MEAL. For instance, instead of plain tortilla chips, make sure you put some melted cheese or lean meat on them. Instead of flavored crackers (like cheezits) put some cheese on some plain saltines or triscuits. Pasta? make sure there's some tuna or salmon in there with it.

You will get full faster (so youll eat less) and your metabolism will have some protein to work on, so you will burn calories, even at rest.

Well this was kinda long, but I wanted to pass this on. I lost 25 pounds last year...only seventy five left to go! LOL

Best Wishes
Happy New Year!
